Fall Equinox Sound Bath with Taleen Kali

Soundbaths are a time-honored ritual with healing effects that help to clear the mind, allow us to connect with our true natures and amplify our innate ability for connection and creativity. All are welcome! Using the power of sound and meditation, we’ll relax, restore, and “retune” ourselves into balance. Sound can often guide us to release pain, worry and anxiety, and expand our neural pathways by clearing our slate in a meditative state. Soundbaths can thus create space for healing, allowing creative insights to spark through!

What to expect

• A brief group check-in
• Breathing exercises to feel centered and connected
• Information about sound healing: harmonics, crystal singing bowls and water toning
• An extended sound bath experience where you can relax and let go
• A guided meditation at the beginning and end of the sonic experience⁣
• Journal prompts to close out the evening and encourage creative insights
• Exercises that will enhance your sound perception and discernment in your everyday life, helping with meditation, clarity, and creativity

What to bring

Please wear layered, loose clothing for optimal flexibility and comfort, and bring with you a refillable water bottle, yoga mat, and an eye pillow or eye covering (optional). If you don’t have a yoga mat, you can rent one for $3 ($2 members)!

About Taleen Kali

Taleen Kali is an L.A. native artist who has offered sound bath and meditation events at Space 1520, Junior High, Langham Hotels, L.A. State Historic Park, Griffith Park, Arlington Park, Goatlandia, and more. Soundbath instruments include crystal singing bowls in the key of D, F, A, Paiste Planetary Venus Gong (24" A3 221.23 Hz), guitar, and synths. She holds a YA 200 hour teacher training certification from Yoga Blend (2015) and completed her Soundbath Practitioner Training at The Soundbath Center (2017).
