Miss our Yoga for Healthy Backs class? Ani is back to share her trade secrets in this unique workshop designed for those interested in how yoga can help with strength, longevity, and spinal health.
Sign Up • $35If you're interested in how yoga can help with strength, longevity, and spinal health, this workshop is for you. In this 90 minute class, we’ll move through a medium paced warm-up, do some focused core strength and mobility work, and all throughout Ani will provide detailed instruction on safe alignment. We'll go over adaptations for athletics, aging, pregnancy, and back pain. We'll also discuss some of the common causes of yoga related aches and pains, and the modifications to avoid them.
This workshop is an inclusive space for bodies of all ages (16+) and sizes, with only two requirements:
- students must have taken at least 5 yoga classes prior to registration
- students must be able to get up and down from the floor unaided
Please wear comfy clothes and bring a water bottle, yoga mat, and if you like to take notes, a journal. If you don’t have a yoga mat, you can rent one at the studio for $3 ($2 members).
Please note: Cell phone use or use of recording devices is not allowed in class, and we kindly ask that you refrain from strong scents or perfumes.

About Ani
Ani tries to create an inclusive environment for all people, regardless of age or ability. It's a safe space, but not necessarily a serious one. She strives to be inviting, challenging, and aware of the changing needs of her students. Above all, she hopes people leave class just a little more at home in their bodies. Ani moved to the Sierras but is so happy to be back in her hometown and home studio!
