Sunday, February 12 8:00pm — 9:30pm
with Marisa Reyes
Join Marisa in ceremony with cacao, a beautiful heart opening medicine that is shared in circles amongst communities with the intention of creating a feeling of love and belonging.
Marisa Reyes creates a space for people to build a relationship with this Guatemalan cacao which was sourced from a women’s collective, Mama Amor, just an hour from the magical Lake Atitlan. As she opens the space with a guided meditation to meet the spirit of cacao, she weaves in medicine songs and gentle movements to create more spaciousness and depth. There is an opportunity to travel through the yoga nidra space with sound healing to invite in an honoring of our nervous system through deep relaxation. These ceremonies are an opportunity to nurture the physical, emotional, and soul bodies.
Accompanied by Amy Izapapalotl Walker, together they will take participants on a journey with medicine music from the Ollintlahuimetzli Moondance lineage, as well as original songs inspired by Marisa's healing journey. Find Amy Walker on IG.
