Yoga Teacher Training 2024

Dates TO BE ANNOUNCED

Are you interested in becoming a yoga teacher, or wanting to take your practice to the next level? Join Hannah Skye, Sondra Sun and Julia Bembenek for the Highland Park Yoga 200 hour teacher training (Yoga Alliance certified RYT-200). Dates for our 2024 training have not yet been announced. To be the first to know when enrollment opens, contact us via the link below and we'll add you to our contact list!

Our training focuses on classical yoga philosophy and spirituality, with a progressive approach to alignment and movement. We believe in fitting the asana to the student rather than the student to the asana. We advocate for asana practice that accommodates all bodies and meets people where they are in their yogic journey. You will learn functional alignment and anatomy, practice self improvement and explore the origins of yoga through yogic philosophy and history.

Week by week, we will explore kriyas, mudras, mantras, meditation and breathing techniques to complement your asana practice. You will learn about Ayurveda and how to incorporate it into your daily life, read and discuss yogic texts, learn advanced asanas and how to sequence safe and inspiring classes.

This training will launch you into a more expansive and holistic understanding of your own practice, and prepare aspiring to teach to step into the role of instructor.

The training includes a 300+ page printed manual, guest lectures, unlimited yoga at Highland Park Yoga for the duration of the training, and Yoga Alliance RYT 200 approved certification upon completion.

Members save 10% on the cost of tuition. Payment plans are available, as well as a limited number of reduced tuition scholarships based on financial need. For more information, email advisor@highlandparkyoga.com.
